Mrs. Berry was born in Simpsonville to the late Samuel Lee (1915-1978) Howard and Emma Kathleen Pennington (1918-2001) Howard. She worked for Greenville Housing Authority and previously worked at NuVox for many years. She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church. Martha loved serving others and especially enjoyed her time with the family at the beach and the mountains.
Surviving are a son, Dean Berry; a brother, Rex Howard and wife Myra, a sister, Virginia Lawson and husband Logan Thompson. She was predeceased by a brother, Sammy Howard; and a sister, Janice Rynes.
Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday at Northgate Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
A private burial will be held at Graceland East Cemetery.
