Bernice Herman Edwards, age 87, of Granite Falls, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care of Hudson. She was born on April 9, 1930 in Caldwell County to the late Arvin and Bertha Lail Herman. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Wayne Herman, two sisters; Virginia Herman White, and Rachel Herman Cannon.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of Baton United Methodist Church and was a past board member, Sunday School Teacher, and choir member, she was also part of the Methodist Woman’s Group. Mrs. Edwards was a retired seamstress for Sherrills Furniture.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Baton United Methodist Church, conducted by, Reverend Alan Boliek, Reverend Rob Evans, Reverend Lonnie Bell and Reverend John Herold.
