Robert H. Lombard, 80, of Plain City, passed away on Friday, September 11, 1992 in Mount Carmel Medical Center.

A farmer, horseman, hunter, fisherman, Plain City Councilman and former Mayor for seven years, Bob retired from Dunmire Brothers in 1974. He was a life member of I.O.O.F.

Born to Heber R. and Grace (Wilson) Lombard in Madison County on Sept. 11, 1911, he married Beulah Marie Roby on Nov. 28, 1935 in Madison County, Ohio.

Preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Charles Wilson Lombard in 1924 and James A. Lombard in 1962; daughter, Mary Esther Bauder in 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Marie (Roby) Lombard; two daughters; three sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sisters: Frances Irene McCoy of Dayton, and Mary Edith (Ivan) Planck in Arizona; numerous nieces; nephews; and many friends.

Ferguson Funeral Home in Plain City for services on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery in Plain City, Ohio.
