Linda Marie Thornton, 46, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at her home in Booneville. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 30, 1970, to Tucker Elgin and Fannie Woolum Maness. Linda enjoyed cooking, shopping, couponing, and most of all playing with her grandkids.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Kreach officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Juliette Independent Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dwight Thornton; her daughter, Brooke Shelton of Booneville; three sons, Timmy (Tiffany) McVey of Booneville, Chris (Monica) Thornton of Booneville and Stevie Thornton; her mother, Fannie Woolum; her sister, Sandra Bayless of Booneville; and six grandchildren, Corbin McVey, Kynleigh Shelton, Tucker Shelton, Maeleigh McVey, Karsynn Shelton and Collin Thornton all of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tucker Maness, and a brother, Jimmy Maness.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Cole, Ronald Yates, Mitch Wommack, Brandon Coggins, and Justin Aycock.
