Services for Mr. Bob Lord, 80, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Haven of Memories Cemetery, Canton.

Mr. Lord passed away October 13, 2017, in Grand Saline. He was born January 31, 1937, in Navarro County to Milton & Jewel Lord. Bob retired from the US Army September 1995 after 31 years of service. He had lived in Dallas for many years before moving to Grand Saline 23 years ago.

Mr. Lord is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond Lord and Milburn Lord; two sisters, Lonita Hayes and Louise Worley; two grandchildren, Catherine Faye Lord and Elizabeth Joyce Lord; and one great-grandchild, Samuel Rexrode.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joy Lord of Grand Saline; three sons, Bruce Lord of Bonham, Mike Lord of Waxahachie, and Cliff Lord and wife Beth of Frost; daughter, Sherri Webb of Arlington, WA; stepson, Thomas Hahn of Portland, OR; three stepdaughters, Cindy Milligan and husband Fred of Fruitvale, Vickie Lamb and husband Martin of Royse City, Mary Morgan and husband Richard of College Station; brother, James Lord of Spring; four sisters, Norma Vessells of Colorado, Margaret Yates and husband Charles of Central, SC, Linda Farmer of Whitehouse, and Judy Blanton and husband Charles of Greenville; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
