CATHERINE T. ANDERSON, 88, of Farragut Street, a retired waitress, died Monday in San Jose, Calif., while visiting one of her daughters.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Anderson.
A lifelong resident of Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Theresa (Palmer) Perry. Mrs. Anderson was a waitress for various area restaurants before she retired 20 years ago.
She was a member of the Providence Senior Citizens group, and a member of and fundraiser for the Salvation Army.
She is survived by three daughters, three sons, 31 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was the mother of the late James R. Anderson and Barbara James.
