Brian Edward Walker, age 49, born on August 28, 1968 in Yuba City, CA, formerly of Fayetteville, NC and recently moved (January 2017) to Mobile, Alabama, departed this life on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
Brian was an honorable veteran of the US Army and a paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division. At 6 foot 6 inches, he was lovingly referred to as "The Gentle Giant" to those closest to him. Brian was genuinely kindhearted, always smiling, and one who never met a stranger. However, he was also fiercely loyal and protective over his loved ones whenever necessary. He was adventurous and enjoyed life to the fullest including a fondness for the great outdoors (anything near water), City Hope Church, Mardi Gras parades, Alabama Crimson Tide Football, epic movies and a wonderful appreciation for varied genres of music.
Preceding him in death are his beloved mother, Florence Watson-Walker, maternal grandparents, Willie Watson, and Ruby Mallon Watson; paternal great-grandparents, Armstead C. Jackson, Sr., and Pauline Watson Jackson; and loved Aunt Shearie Jackson.
Leaving to cherish Brian's memory are his wife (separated), Christine Williams Walker, Alexandria, VA; his adored only son, Briano Braveheart Walker, Fayetteville, NC; his dedicated father, Eddie (Camellia) Walker, Waldorf, MD and his close brother, Eric Marcus Walker, Mobile, AL; stepbrother, Carlos Johnson, Washington, DC; stepsister, Nicole D. His final cremated resting place will be in Arlington, VA at the Arlington Cemetery.
