Roy Virgil Hamilton, age 73, was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of the late Andrew Jackson "Andy" and Octava Keathley Hamilton. Roy was born in Pikeville, Kentucky. He Passed away Friday October 13, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center at 9:34 P.M. Roy was a Self employed construction contractor from 1971 until 2003.
Along with his parents Roy was preceded in death by: his brothers, Gary, Wayne, Emil, and Lucian Hamilton, his sisters, Ethel Syck, Mildred Hall, and Martha Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by: his wife, Judith Ann Gue Hamilton, three daughters, Teresa and her husband Benny Thacker, Brenda and her husband Robert Justice, and Marilyn Sue and her husband Kevin Ratliff, ten grand children, Benny (Kristy) Thacker, Cody Thacker, Barry (Hillary) Justice, Belinda (Jeffrey) Stapleton, Tiffany Justice, Megan (Jared) Robinson, Chelsea (Shawn) Stegall, Ethan Ratliff, Brandon (Amanda) Ratliff, and Brian (Tara) Ratliff, Ten Great Grandchildren, Brayden Thacker, Landon Thacker, Blake Justice, Cheyanne Stapleton, Brantley Robinson, Adrianna Stegall, Colton Ratliff, Savannah Ratliff, Korbin Ratliff, and MaKenah Ratliff, and one brother, Ralph and his wife Betty Hamilton.
