Macon, Georgia- Homegoing services for Mrs. Eunice Juhan White Evans will include a Wake at Hutchings Funeral Home, Friday Evening from 7PM to 8PM, and morning funeral worship service at Aletheia Baptist Church, 1711 Oglesby Place, Saturday, October 14, 2017 promptly at 11:00 A.M. Interment is at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Eunice Juhan White Evans, 88, went from labor here on earth to her heavenly reward early Sunday morning, October 8, 2017. She was predeceased by her father, Erasmus White, Sr., mother, Matilda Hughes White and brother, Erasmus White, Jr. She was the last niece of Mrs. Electa Hughes Mallory of the New Providence Baptist Church Community, Wilkinson County.
She lived in Macon all of her life and attended the historic Lewis Henry (LH) Williams Elementary school and graduated Hudson High School in 1946. She also matriculated at the historic Georgia Baptist College. She worked for the late, Mrs. Margie Copeland and Family and the late, Mrs. Elsie Maxwell and Bert Maxwell Family, while being an accomplished musician/pianist for a number of churches in the city as well as a piano teacher. She also was a substitute teacher for the Bibb County Public School System for a number of years. She retired from the Department of Human Resources at the Youth Development Center as a YDC Worker, Senior after 21 years.
