He was born May 10, 1925 in Stanly County to the late James Thomas and Magdelence Almond Hathcock and was married to the late Colleen Miller Hathcock. Charles retired from Collins & Aikman in Old Fort after 32 years of service. He served in the US Army and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; a son, Garrison “Garry” Mark Hathcock; sister Dorothy Poplin and brother Vance Hathcock.
There will a graveside service Alamance Memorial Park.
