Kenneth R. Snover, 78, of Hazleton died Sunday afternoon in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
He was born in Hazleton, son of the late Edwin Snover and Helen (Briesch) Snover Henry.
He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Slovak Lutheran Church.
Prior to retiring, he was a self-employed truck driver and last worked for McAllister’s Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, H. Virginia Spaide, and a brother, Howard Snover.
He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Bittenbender; daughters, Sue Crawford and her husband, Kevin, New Tripoli; Cindy Cusate, Zion Grove; and Amy Katzen and her husband, Andrew, Media; son-in-law, Daniel Spaide, Germansville; a brother, Donald Snover and his wife, Patty, Wallingford; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Slovak Lutheran Church, Eighth and Alter streets, Hazleton, with the Rev. Marjorie Keiter officiating.
Interment will be held in Mountain View Cemetery, West Hazleton.
Friends and relatives may call Friday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral.
Arrangements are under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton.
