Lucille Eleanor Dean, 74, of Buffalo City formerly of Winona, died Tuesday October 10, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 27, 1942 to Roy and Eleanor (Burfeind) King in Racine, MN. Lucy grew up in Winona and graduated from Winona High School. After high school she met Richard Dean. The two of them married in 1964. They had two children together, Jody and Cindy Lou. They lived in Winona before moving to Illinois and then moved back to the area and resided in Buffalo City, WI through retirement. Lucy worked at Benchmark Electronics in Winona.
Lucy loved playing in her garden and canning her labors from the summer. She also loved to sew and made many of the clothes that her family would wear. She was very talented and passed her sewing ability onto her daughter, Cindy Lou.

Lucy is survived by her children, Cindy Lou and Jody; step-children, Phyllis, Anthony, Kimberly (James Andersen), Thomas; six grandsons, two granddaughters and 1 great-grandson; siblings, Marlene, Shirley, Diane, Althea and Roger. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and two grandsons.

A memorial gathering will take place from 12-3 PM, Tuesday, October 17 with a time of sharing at 2:30 PM at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview.
