Arthur C. Hamin, age 88, of Nekoosa joined his first love for the second time on Friday October 13, 2017 at Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Christian Life Fellowship in Port Edwards. Rev. Dean Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Village of Port Edwards Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa and at church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Art was born July 10, 1929 in Wisconsin Rapids to August "Red" and Agnes (Anderson) Hamin. He married Juanita "Joy" Miltimore on November 26, 1946 in Waukegan, IL. She died November 12, 2009. For 42 years, Art was employed as a lineman for Wisconsin Power and Light, retiring in 1991. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and bird watching. Art was a life member of the NRA. He greatly enjoyed time with his family and joking with the grandchildren.

Art is survived by six children Greg (Special Friend Peggy) Hamin of Nekoosa, Jennifer (John) Wolms of Las Vegas, Jody (Amy) Hamin of Nekoosa, Todd (Donna) Hamin of Nekoosa, Eric (Ruth) Hamin of Nekoosa and Chad (Tammy) Hamin of Nekoosa; grandchildren Tami (Bob) Schaumberg, Dirk (Kelly) Gruber, Jonathan (Deanna) Wolms, Joshua (Vicki) Wolms, Amanda (Jeff) Repinski, Mackenna Joy Wolms, Jessica (Greg) Collins, Justin Hamin (Sheila Singer)Cody Hamin (Jennifer Pelot), Josiah (Amanda) Hamin, Samuel Hamin (Lindsey Parks), Nathan (Lindsey) Hamin, Jace (Michaela) Hamin, Brynn (Jacob) McDonald and Kade (Ashley) Hamin. He is further survived by his great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Ann Hodges, infant sister Esther Hamin and infant brother August Hamin Jr.

The Hamin family would like to thank the staff of Edgewater Haven for the excellent and professional care given to Art. Those who knew Art will always hold on to special memories.
