Edgar Gene Horn, 72, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, at his home. He was born July 20, 1945, in Kennett, Missouri, son of the late Edgar and Billie Gene Holloway Horn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; son, Shane Horn; and a brother, Danny Paul Horn.

He is survived by 3 sons, Billy Horn, Anthony “Gube” Horn and wife Georgie, and Shawn Horn and wife Brooke; grandchildren, Anthony Horn and wife Sarah, Lacey and husband Cody Howerton, Kristen and husband Justin Roberts, Amber Horn, Kendall Horn, Addie Horn, Shalyn Horn, Rebecca Horn, Owen Horn, Amanda Horn, and Gabe Horn; 4 great-grandchildren, Bentley Horn, Atrus Howerton, Kenzie Horn, Novalee Howerton, and Marshall Horn; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside service and burial is 3:00 PM, Monday, October 16, at Bells Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Don Loveless officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, at Lemley Chapel.

Pallbearers are Billy Horn, Gube Horn, Shawn Horn, Owen Horn, Anthony Horn and Gabe Horn. Honorary pallbearers are Bentley Horn, Atrus Howerton, and Marshall Horn.
