Gary G. "Big" Holland Sr., 70 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday October 11, 2017 at his home. He was born August 9, 1947 in Houston, TX to parents, Ernest Weldon Holland and Gladys Pauline (Ivy) Holland. Gary grew up in Houston and once out of school lived and worked in the city for many years as a machinist. He married Freida McBride in 1968. In 1988 the family moved to Lampasas. He along with his family owned and operated G&F Cleaning and Lawn Care Service for several years in Lampasas. Gary was a member of Christ The Rock Church in Lampasas. He was a big fan of the Astros and Texans, he also enjoyed woodworking and going to drag races with Gary Jr.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and by twin brother, Larry, brother, Ernest and by sister, Diane.
