Gordon was a machinist at Amtrak until he retired in 1991. He was a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School. Gordon loved motorcycles and was a classic car enthusiast. His "labor of love" was restoring their Victorian style home with fiancee Bonnie.
He is survived by his fiancee, Bonnie Piatt; 2 daughters, Julie (Tina) Harmon of Greenfield, Lisa (Randy) Harmon of Leehigh Acres, FL; brothers, Ted (Vivian) Harmon, Joe Harmon and Jack (Linda) Harmon all of Greenfield; sisters, Mary Harmon, Cheryl Croke, Becky Harmon, Laura Harmon. Gordon is preceded in death by both his father and mother and Rusty Harmon.

Funeral will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 17 at the funeral home with Father Aaron Jenkins and Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery.
