Peggy was born on July 12, 1925. Peggy was active in her children’s lives when they lived in South Houston. She was a Sunday school teacher at Faith Methodist Church and a team mom for the baseball team. Peggy also served as president of the Garden Club in South Houston.
Peggy and her family moved to Saltillo where they bought a farm from the Spearman family.
Peggy is survived by two sons, Ronnie R. Todd, and wife Sidney, of Granby, Colorado and Richard “Rick” Todd of Mount Vernon; one grandson, Jason Newham; two granddaughters, Lauren and Addison; best friend, Phyllis Donica; and by a host of other relatives and very special friends.
Funeral services for Peggy Todd will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home with Joy Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon City Cemetery with Dale Crowston, Tim Evans, Floyd Mille, Jay Miller, Brad Nicholson, and Bruce Nicholson serving as pallbearers.
