Cheryl Weigum,74, Belfield, died Monday December 24, 2012 at St. Benedict's Health Care Center, Dickinson. Abiding by Cheryl's wishes no service was held.
Cheryl was born January 4, 1938 in Nebraska, daughter of Steve and Nellie (Dewey) Roten. She was united in marriage to Vernon Weigum November 28, 1953 in Marysville, Kansas. Together they farmed and at the same time Cheryl worked as a bartender at Arnie's Place in South Heart.
She loved to read and work crossword puzzles.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Jay (Doretta) Weigum; two grandsons, Jason & Justin Weigum; two great-grandchildren, Angel & Jaden Weigum; and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon, on July 26, 2011; her parents; son, Vernon Jr; two brothers and two sisters.
