CLYDE – Patti Williams, 62, of Clyde went to see her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in a Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Minton officiating. Burial will be in the Dudley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 and 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015at the funeral home.
Patti was born September 2, 1952 in Abilene, Texas to Billy Roscoe and Rebecca Alice (Cunningham) Powell. She was a lifelong resident of Taylor and Callahan County, graduating from Cooper High School. Patti married Joe H. Williams May 14, 1994 at the Abilene State School Chapel, where she had worked for four years. She was a member of the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene where she belonged to the Women’s Class 2 Sunday School Class.
Patti is survived by her husband Joe of Clyde; two daughters, Bonnie Pitchford and husband Del of Abilene and Kristi Cordova and husband Jacent of Abilene; grandchildren, Shannon, Becca and Heather Peterson, Destiny Garza, Ashton Peterson, Madyson, Jacent, Aleina and William Cordova; two great grandchildren on the way; sister-in-laws, Charlotte Diese and husband Ronnie, Dean Phipps and husband Joel, Dian Harp and husband Greg, Jackie Beeman and husband Roger and Elizabeth Hansen and husband Mike; brother-in-law, James Williams and wife Janet; sister-in-law, Olivia Powell and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Douglas Powell; one aunt Shirley Ungerer; one uncle, John T. Cunningham and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Sarah Williams.
