Obituary:
Jairet Edsel Wilson, 74, of West Orange died Tuesday at his home.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.
A native of Merryville, La., he lived in West Orange 30 years and was a retired pipe fitter at DuPont in Orange. He was a former Kirbyville resident.
Survivors include his wife, Verdie Wilson of West Orange; a daughter, Barbara Saunders of Orange; a son, Jerry Wilson of Lake Charles, La.; four sisters, Vadie V West of Kirbyville, Frankie Ann Wallace of Silsbee, and Ottie Belle Loughridge and Lena Othello Bruggman, both of Livingston; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
