MANNI, EDWARD J. SR. 80, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at RI Hospital in Providence. Edward was the husband of Carol (DiDonato) Manni. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Dario and Mary (Santurri). Mr. Manni was the owner and operator of Garden Park Builders for 40 years, before his retirement. He was an avid gardener, farmer and loved his dogs, Lucky and Walter. Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children; Sharon Arnold of Manville Lincoln, Edward J. Manni, Jr. of Cranston, Joseph Manni of Cranston, Michael Manni and his wife Jill of North Kingstown, and Karen Kelly and her husband John of Johnston. Edward was the grandfather of Anthony Arnold, Edward J. Manni, III, and Amanda Manni. He was the great grandfather of Mason Arnold, and brother of Arthur and Angelo Manni, Gladys Costello, all of Cranston and the late Thomas, Anthony, George and Charles Manni. His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Maronite Church, (formerly St. Ann's Church), 1493 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday 5:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
