After serving in the Marine Corps, Ira spent most of his career in the manufacturing industry in the West Texas area. Ira enjoyed playing rugby and baseball and watching football. He enjoyed spending time with his friends in the San Jacinto Manor community center and was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and his family.
Ira is survived by sons, Andrew Taylor Stone of Atlanta, GA. (50yrs) and Anthony Lee Stone of Los Angeles CA. (48yrs) and daughter Andrea Lea Bayern of Denver, CO. (49yrs) and loving brother Ronald Stone from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Ira is the loving Grandfather of Nicholas Lee Blackburn (32yrs), Ethan David Blackburn (23yrs), Mia Lea Stone (18yrs) and Anthony Duran Stone (16yrs) and Frances Altobelli his long time friend and companion.
