Patty Sue Turner a longtime Oilton resident, passed away on Tuesday October 10th in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.
Patty was born on July 2nd 1938 to A.J. and Vasca Clawson. She grew up in Yale. Patty was homemaker and educator, especially enjoyed teaching her students Indian Sign Language. She loved spending time with her husband and family.

Patty is survived by daughter, two sons, step-daughter and step-son, two sisters, Brother, twenty-one beautiful grandchildren and several wonderful great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Vasca Clawson, father A.J. Clawson of Oilton, her late husband Ed Turner of Oilton, sisters Mary Deeds and Wilma Jones of Oilton, brothers John Clawson of Tahlequah, Leland Clawson of Yale, Jimmy Clawson of Oilton, Jack Clawson of Oilton and step-son Sam Turner of Yale.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at the First Baptist Church 308 W. Rodgers, Oilton, OK. Pastor Larry Calvert will officiate. Interment will be at Underwood Cemetery in Yale, OK with a reception to follow for family and friends back at First Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton OK.
