Dedicated to the memory of one of the dearest mothers who ever lived on this earth — Mrs. Constantia H. Trussell, who passed on, in New York City, Tuesday, Dec. 3. She was the mother of Marshall W. Trussell, the editor of the San Saba News:
MOTHER
The earth is filled with beautiful things,
but there is just One Mother.
The heavens sparkle with a million stars,
but there is just One Mother.
Wherever I go, whatever I do, she asks nothing except that she may continue to love and comfort me.
And so may I ever be close to her, learn from her and love her in return to prove to Him my thankfulness for this Life's, greatest and noblest gift, My Mother.
