Katie Arrington White Harrison, 97, of 225 Philpot Street passed away Monday, March 14, 2005. She was born Oct. 14, 1907 in Cherokee County, Ala., and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Warner Arrington and Lou Ida Johnson Arrington; her husband, Raymond Harrison; a son, Comer D. White; four brothers and two sisters. Survivors are her daughters, Marguerite Grindstaff of Rome and Annie Bell Couch of Cedartown; a daughter–in-law Hazel M. White of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Jewell Tuck of Cedartown; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 12 great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 17 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. LaDell Jacobs officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Grindstaff, Robert Cooper, Raeford Couch, Raymond Couch, William Scott Couch, Tony Couch and Royce White. The Lester C.
