Sara L. Bryant, age 74 of Findlay, passed away at 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Birchaven Village in Findlay. Sara was born on October 25, 1942 to H. D. and Lillian (Dyer) Pettet in Findlay, Ohio. She married Thomas F. Bryant on July 19, 1980 and he survives. Sara is survived by a step son John L. (Cathy) Bryant of Findlay; a daughter, Kelly (Richard G.) Pelton of Fostoria; four grandchildren: John R. Bryant, David T. Bryant, Jennifer Kayser, and T. Jason Bryant; nine great grandchildren; and a brother H. D. "Beau" Petit of Tampa, Florida. Sara was a graduate of Findlay High School. She worked as a legal secretary for her husband starting in 1970. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she was active as a lector and a former vestry member and clerk of the vestry. She was a member of the Thursday Conversation Club. She volunteered for the Humane Society as well as for Hospice where in the past she participated as a "Hospice Clown". Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME 500 Lima Ave, Findlay. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church 128 W. Hardin St, Findlay with Father John Drymon officiating. Memorials can be made in Sara's honor to Trinity Episcopal Church 128 W. Hardin St, Findlay, Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, or the Humane Society of Hancock County, 4550 Fostoria Ave, Findlay.
