Tommy graduated from Ponca City High School where he played football and made All-State. Soon after graduation, Tommy married the love of his life, Roberta Ross, on December 23, 1954. Tommy went on to play college football at OU and Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Tommy worked for Sequoia Oil, Gulf Oil, City Services then Conoco. Before and after work, Tommy planted wheat and raised cattle on a farm. He retired in 1995 after 38 years of service. Tommy opened TR's Used Cars and worked at his business for over 20 years.

He is survived by two children and spouses, five grandchildren and spouses, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, and brother.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Roberta Ross, one sister, Mary Jansen, and a brother, Jimmy Ross.
A graveside ceremony for Tommy will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Longwood Cemetery in Ponca City with Chaplain Tom Howard Officiating. Trout Funeral Home
