Funeral service to be held Saturday morning, April 30, 2016 at Revelation COGIC (Church of God in Christ), Carlisle. Family visitation to be held one hour before the funeral service. Colonial Southern Services, Carlisle handled the arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter and a son, of Lonoke; seven (7) grandchildren; six (6) brothers; and three (3) sisters.

Herman was a resident of Hazen and died Friday, April 22, 2016. He was born September 14, 1953 in Carlisle, Arkansas to Elmo and Essie Mae Allen (Essie Mae ID# 184176030, is buried nearby). He graduated from Carlisle school system and was good at sports. He was an employee of Riviana Foods.
