Kenneth "Keith" Rippy, age 71, was the son of Ray and Pearl Mulvaney Rippy of Mahomet. He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Shore. They graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in 1954 and were married in April 1955.
He leaves three children, Karen Rippy Craghead, Kenneth Keith and Kimberly Rippy andand five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, Gene; and a niece, Cindy.
Mr. Rippy worked construction and was a licensed plumber. He retired from Champaign County in December of 1996.
