Mrs. Susie Garner, 83, of R. F. D. No. 3, Dixie community, died Monday afternoon at 3:20 o’clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. M. McKenzie. Two other sisters, Mrs. G. R. Rowell and Mrs. Mary Scarling, and a brother, J. W. Garner, all of Pachuta, Miss., survive. She also leaves four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, funeral services were held this morning at 11 o’clock at Dixie Baptist church, with interment in the Dixie cemetery. The. Rev. C. E. Allmand of Fifth Avenue Baptist church conducted the services. The burial arrangements were in charge of the Hattiesburg Undertaking company.
