Eva Faye Nelms Wheeler, 81, was born on April 26, 1936, and completed her journey to her Heavenly home on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the life celebration. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.

Faye grew up in the MS Delta, graduated from Linn High School, married and had 3 children that she dedicated her life to loving. She had a long career in retail, retiring from Walmart in 2006 after 21 years of dedicated service. She had battled non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma off/on since the year 2000 and relied heavily on her faith in God to carry her through. She was strong and loving and is now free of her worldly pain.

She is predeceased by her son, Gerald Wheeler; parents, Trudy and Harvey Nelms; brothers, Jake and Bryce; sisters, Lela and Arlin; and niece, Sandra Jefcoat.

Lovingly known as Mother, Wheezer, Mam, Memaw, Aunt, and friend, she is survived by daughters, Kathy Moore (James), and Kimberly Richardson; grandchildren, Corey Hunter (Haley), Courtney Hughes (Nathan/Reagan), Jacob Wheeler (Kayla), Richard Richardson and Joshua Price (Kayla/Haden); her namesake and very special great-granddaughter, Leah Faye Hunter; sisters, Clarsie Cooper and Odele Gibson; brother, Alan Nelms (Helen); special friends, Mike Sartin, Melanie Wheeler, Ricky Richardson, and Diane Harrell; and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
