Tommy Lester sims, 48, of Damascus died Saturday, December 30, 2006. He was born February 13, 1958 at Clinton. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his companion, Veronica, of Damascus; three sons, Joshua Sims of Quitman, Daniel Converse of Damascus, & Teddy Converse of Bee Branch; three daughters, Amber Maggard of Dardanelle, and Maggie Sims & Whitley Sims, both of Damascus; his grandmother, Arkie Williams of Conway; five sisters, Judy Dalton of Conway, Joann Raper of Morrilton, Sabra Murphree of Bee Branch, & Sue Duncan & Robbie Stevenson of Damascus; two brothers, Sammy Sims & Eddie Sims, both of Springfield, and three grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Willie L. & Virginia (Williams) Sims.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 3 at Cove chapel in Martinville with John Evans, Jr. & Greg Hogan officiating. Interment was at Martinville Cemetery by Bishop Griffin funeral Home of Greenbrier.
Pallbearers were Jacob Duncan, Kenny Shaw, Teddy Converse, John Squires, Jamie Duncan, & Ed Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Linn & Charles Wood.
