Dorothy A. Dvorachek, age 85, a resident of Reedsville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 15, 2012, following a stroke.

She was born on Jan. 2, 1927, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Oscar and Elanore (Backhaus) Roberts. On May 18, 1948, she married Anthony Dvorachek at St. Josephs Church in Alverno. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1978.

Dorothy loved to spend time with her family. She loved music and spent 30 years playing the organ at church. After her husband's passing, she was Site Manager at the Reedsville Manor for the Manitowoc County Nutrition Program for 19 years until her retirement. Dorothy was an active member of the Reedsville Sr. Citizens Club, the Maplerock Homemakers Club, Reedsville Lioness Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Christian Mothers of St. Marys Reedsville and Holy Family Parish in Brillion, and several card clubs. She especially enjoyed playing for the choir at St. Mary's Church in Reedsville, singing and cooking.

Survivors include her six children, Jerry (Irene) Dvorachek, New Holstein; Jim (Mary) Dvorachek, Manitowoc; Karen (Duane) Seipel, Appleton; Larry (Debbie) Dvorachek, Whitelaw; Alan Dvorachek, Kiel; Jennifer Wallander and fiance, Ray Decker, Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren, Trisha (Nick) Wicinsky, Melissa (Brian) Hansen, Ryan Dvorachek and special friend, Ms. Dale, Cindy (Pat) Rowland, Diana (Chad) Muehlbauer, Nick (Jessica) Seipel, Michelle Seipel, Kevin (Boni) Dvorachek, Jessica (Ben) Addington, Justin Wallander, Dan (Kari) Dvorachek; six great-grandchildren, Hunter and Connor Rowland, Zachary and Kortney Dvorachek, Ava Wicinsky, Colten Dvorachek; two brothers, John (Lillian) Roberts, Massachusetts; Kenneth (Judy) Roberts, Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Delores Dvorachek, Manitowoc; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; her parents, Oscar and Elanore Roberts; a sister, Mary Louise Roberts; an infant sister, Lucille; her in-laws, Anton and Anna Dvorachek; 15 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe (Mary) Dvorachek, Steve (Florence) Dvorachek, Ed (Hiliara) Dvorachek, Emil Dvorachek, Charles (Pearl) Dvorachek, Mary (Leonard) Braun, Agnes (Wenzel) Svatek, and Christine (John) Kimmel.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 to 11:15 a.m. with Mass following at 11:30 a.m.
