Bradley J. "Brad" Mills
July 17, 1957 - October 8, 2017
Parker City – Bradley J. “Brad” Mills, 60, passed away Sunday morning, October 8, 2017, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Ohio on July 17, 1957 the son of Lee “Bucky” and Mary (Miller) Mills, attended Monroe Central High School and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Brad was a project manager for twenty-eight years with Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem Inc.) until his retirement in February 2016.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #274 and Eagles F.O.E. Aerie #4237 both in Oscoda, MI. Brad was an avid golfer and boater and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-one years, Penny; his father, Lee “Bucky” Mills, Parker City; two sons, Shawn Mills, Muncie and Bradley Mills (wife, Kimmy), Ft. Drum, NY; two daughters, Kelley Webb (husband, Alex), Fishers and Lindsey Mills, Oscoda, MI; two step-children, Mathew McKerring (wife, Jennifer), Germany and Pamela Markley, Cary, NC; seventeen grandchildren, Ashton, Myla, Connor, Kennedy, Brycen, Jackson, Jaycee, McKinley, Henry, Katherine, Will, Cora, Raelynn, Charlie, Xander, Braden, and Piper; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mills; and a brother, Bruce Mills.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
