Brian Michael Cornett, 26, of Harrisonville, PA, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident in Guilford Township, PA. Born October 17, 1990 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Jason S. and Dawn L. (Summers) Cornett, Harrisonville, PA. He attended James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, PA, and later attained his GED. He was employed as a Plumbing Supervisor at Jason Cornett Plumbing LLC, Harrisonville, PA and worked as a mechanic in the past at HyperforceX, Hagerstown, MD. Brian enjoyed working on cars, fabricating metal and watching movies. Most who met Brian were quickly acquainted with his beautiful blue eyes and charm. He enjoyed being around friends and helping whenever he was needed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Sylvia V. Cornett, Blairsville, PA; his maternal grandparents, David and Darlene Summers, Greencastle, PA; his uncle and aunts: Richard and Karen Cornett, Scotland, PA and Walt and Lori Cornett, Greencastle; many cousins, and his girlfriend, Chelsea Regester, Waynesboro.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Merlin and Patricia Cornett.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, PA, with Rev. David G. Rawley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the funeral home.
