He is survived by his son, Scotty Pruitt; his grandchildren, Britney Carmack and Sierra Lawson; 2 great grandchildren; one brother, Jackie Pruitt (Zola); three sisters, Sarah Hudson (George), Karen Ryan (Danny) and Debra Brooks (Edwin); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Arthur and Eddie Mae Pruitt; his son, Jimmy Lee Pruitt; his brother, Ray Pruitt; and his sister, Ann McClung.
