May 5, 1977-Oct. 3, 2017

Nicholas "Nick" William Sullivan was born on May 5, 1977, in Butte, Montana. He passed away at St. James Healthcare on Oct. 3, 2017.

The son of Michael "Mick" and Brenda Sullivan, he attended Longfellow, East Middle School, and Butte High School.

He loved and participated in many sports and was an avid Yankees, Bears, and Notre Dame fan. He was a talented artist. Even as a small child he would draw on the wall and sign his name to his art. He enjoyed hunting, hunting camp, camping, floating, fishing, and especially bonfires with his family.

He had a special bond with each one of his cousins. He participated in all family special occasions and events. He loved working as a casino attendant and thought of them as his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Ned Chesley; grandparents, Jean and Michael Sullivan and Joe Trudgeon; special great-uncle, Homer Chesley; and many other great-aunts and uncles, too many to mention.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, John Sullivan and wife, Cari; nephews, Dylan, Cole, and niece, Carly who were dear to his heart; grandmother, Cynthia Trudgeon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend Dan, Bridgette and her family; his Lucky U family; and his fur babies, Angel, Kia, and Hide-e.

He had a great sense of humor and was quick witted. He had a smile for everyone he met and he would do anything for anyone including being a donor. He will truly be missed by everyone he touched. May you rest in peace forever.

Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at the East Side Athletic Club.

Donations can be made to the Butte Humane Society or organization of your choice.

Axelson Alternative Cremation is privileged to serve Nick’s family.
