JTMORE,KANSAS--- Clayton Lavern Klein, 19, passed away October 7,2017 at Kismet.

He was born June 15,1998 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Keith Dale and Candice Dee Klein Koehn. A lifetime area resident, he was a welder and construction worker at Blattner Feedlot and Livestock Equipment in Cimarron,KS.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Jetmore,KS. and the American Welding Association. He graduated with the class of 2016 from Hodgeman County High School.

Survivors include: father, Keith Dale Koehn, Dodge City; mother, Candice (Tavo) Montes, Jetmore; brother, Erik Koehn, Jetmore; sister, Destiny Montes,Jetmore; Uncles: Curtis (Niki) Klein, Maize, Chris (Staci) Klein, Jetmore; Aunts, Sheri (David) Berger and Machel Klein both of Dodge City,KS. and Janice Koehn, Baton Rouge, LA; grandparents, Janice (Glunt-Klein) Baca and husband Daniel of Jetmore,KS.and Floyd Koehn, Montezuma,KS.; Cousins: Teri (Steven) Gleason, Kaden, Ian, Alexis Klein, Blade Torline, Trace, Brinkley, Jonathan, Nathan Klein and Jacquelin Koehn.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Elaine Koehn; grandfather, David Richard (Punkin) Klein; grandmother, Gladys Koehn and Aunt,Tona Koehn.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 14,2017 at Hodgeman County High School, Jetmore, KS. with Rev. Rod McMillan and Rev. Kirk Larson presiding.
