David Lee Herrington, age 73, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 7, 2017, in a local hospice facility. He was born September 26, 1944, at Texarkana, Arkansas, and had lived all of his life in Texarkana.

He was retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Geneva Herrington, and a son, Joseph Lee Herrington.

Survivors include his wife, Rena Hicks Herrington of Texarkana, Arkansas, three daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Vance Dycus of Magnolia, Arkansas, Karen and Mark Diles of Texarkana, Texas, and Gena and Jeff McKerlie of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter-in-law, Lisa Herrington of Texarkana, Arkansas, and five grandchildren, Morgan Diles, Emily Diles, Amber Dycus, Patrick McKerlie, and Jordan McKerlie.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Chris Hooten and Frank McFerrin officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
