On January 10, 2005, RUTH SIEDOW parted the veil and stepped through to be with the love of her life and our father Jim Siedow. She is survived by her children, Jim Siedow Jr., Jaimie Stroud, Jon Siedow and granddaughters Kelley and Chelsey Stroud.

She was born in Evanston, Illinois and moved to Houston with Jim in 1954. In addition to being a devoted mother to her three children, she was recognized by her many friends, as well as those of her children, as someone who could be counted on in good times and bad as a source of counsel and advice.

A devotee of the theater since her days in Chicago, she was a long-time member of the Theater Suburbia and acted in many memorable roles over the years. Her sense of humor was widely recognized and will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service for Ruth and Jim will be held at a later date.
