BYERLEY, MARY MARGARET (ELLENBRAND), 87, died peacefully Monday evening, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Byerley. She is survived by her children, Stanley Byerley (Charlotte), Keith Byerley (Jeanie), Gary Byerley (Lori), Steve Byerley (Mary Lou), Ron Byerley (Patti), Sharon Freiberger (Paul) Sr., Karen Byerley, OSB, Veronica Hardie and Paula Chandler (Bob); 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, IN, with burial to follow in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -8 p.m. Thursday at Generations Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Mt. Saint Francis Retreat Center, Holy Family Catholic Church or Our Lady of Grace Monastery.
