Sandy Jean Miller, age 75, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Henry Cornelius and Dorothy Esther Sellers; devoted mother of Vickie (Jim) Alter, Eric Faries, the late Sandra Darlene Russell, and the late Ronald Lane Faries; loving grandmother of Dorothy Jean Faries, Donovan Wayne Faries, Sereena Marie Faries, Damon Lane Faries, Ashley Faye Holland, Bobby Gene Russell, and Matthew Neal Faries; treasured great-grandmother of 10; and dear sister of Judy (Virgil) Brown, Gary Sellers, Glenn (Heather) Sellers, and Peggy Williams. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Skyla Faye Thomas.
Sandy loved shopping and reading, especially thrillers and mysteries by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and James Patterson. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching her favorite detective and crime t.v. shows, CSI, Law & Order, and NCIS. She was also an avid horror and thriller movie fan, who enjoyed the “Twilight” series, “The Stand”, and the classic, “It”. Sandy will be remembered for being very caring, truthful, and for always putting others before herself. And as the years of her life passed, so did her ability to listen, observe, and reflect on her own life as well of those of the people she loved. She was dearly loved in turn by her beloved family, and will be missed by all who knew her.
