Deceased Name: Lester W. McCann

Lester W. McCann, 76, Englewood, died May 26, 1996.

He was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Glencoe, Ohio, and came to Englewood 22 years ago from Flint, Mich., where he retired after 22 years as employment supervisor for the Chevrolet engine division of the G.M. Flint Co. He also was an assistant manager of Hamady Brothers Grocery Stores in Flint. He was a Mason in Grand Blanc, Mich., and a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Delores; a daughter, Sharel Etheridge of Oldsmar; and three grandchildren.

Services were private. Burial will be in Venice Memorial Gardens in Venice. Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel, is in charge.

Memorial donations may be made to the Tree of Life of Englewood United Methodist Church, 700 E. Dearborn St., Englewood, FL 34223.
