Walter James Rogers, was served with the RAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, Halifax LV918 158 Squadron crashed near the West Bahnhof Aachen Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany..... Over the target, the aircraft was coned by searchlights and hit by heavy (schwere) Flak; exploded and crashed.
