Former head librarian at Collegiate School and Alumni President and Trustee at the Chapin School, survived by her daughter, Jane Brown Grimes of New York and Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and her son... as well as seven grandchildren and her three sisters, Julia Reed Palmer of New York (Ed. died Feb. 25th 2006), Mary Reed Shepard of St. Paul, Minn. (Ed. died June 17th 2010 in St. Paul) and Joan Reed Hudson of Southwest Harbor, Me. (Ed. died january 25th 2005 in Sanibel, Florida). Contributions in her memory may be made to the Collegiate School library, 370 West End Avenue, NY, NY 10024."
