Mae Rose Thomas Berry was known by her friends and family as "Mae." She was born in Biloxi, MS October 3, 1955 to Charles and Canary Thomas. She graduated in Biloxi High School and attended the Jeff Davis Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Job Corps. She was a member of the Vernon Gilbert Elks Lodge for many years. She enjoys playing Bingo and spending time at Boomtown. Mae Berry passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Biloxi at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Canary Thomas and two grand children, Alijah and Devaun Wilborn. She is survived by her husband: Milton Berry of Biloxi; her children: Evy White of Biloxi, Larry Wilborn of Biloxi, Hasson Demtrius Wilborn of Biloxi and Canary Latria Wilborn of St. Martin; two sisters: Francis Thomas and Wanda Daniel of Biloxi; eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Rev. John Wilborn will deliver her eulogy. Serving as pallbearers will be Marlon Fields, Jetarie Thomas, Darius Brown, William Hale, Lonnie Hale, Darian Brown and Billy Hill. The family of Mrs. Mae Rose Berry wishes to thank the medical staff and six floor nursing staff of Biloxi Regional Medical Center.
