Timothy Neil Flansaas Sr., Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather was called home to His Heavenly reward on April 29, 2015. At the age of 63 years. He was so loved. His laughter and joy will be sadly missed; until we meet again.

Timothy was born February 8, 1952 in Oakland, CA. to Nels and Agnes Flansaas. He moved to Pershing County, Nevada from Sacramento, CA. in 2001.

He proudly served in the United States Navy. He obtained the rank of 1st Class Petty Officer, and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Electrical repairman, U.S.A. Navy Electrician’s Mate Class A School, Nuclear Power School, Recruit Asst. Company Commander Instructor and many other achievements.

Timothy worked at Florida Canyon Mining, of Imlay, NV as an Engineer Technician and former Lead Electrician for over 10 years. He was the former Proprietor of Northern Nevada Trading Company in Winnemucca, NV for 7 years.

Timothy was survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tamara Flansaas. Their Children: Timothy Flansaas Jr. (TJ), Christina Carrera, Anthony Flansaas, Aaron Matson, and Jonathan Flansaas; Nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael and Sandra Flansaas and Matthew and Melody Flansaas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nels W. Flansaas and Agnes M. Flansaas, his brother Specialist 4 Daniel R. Flansaas, and sisters Sandra Flansaas Hardin, and Debra Flansaas Hjelden.

In Lieu of flowers please make donation in memory of Timothy N. Flansaas Sr. Memorial Fund at the Winnemucca V.F.W. designated for the Winnemucca Veterans Cemetery, for grass, flag and beautification.

The family would like to publicly thank Pastor’s Allen & Darla Peavy and Dad and Mom Peavy of Christlife Family Ministries, (located at Seven Day Adventist Church) and the Church family for coordinating service, food, and prayers; to the V.F.W. and all Military Participants; to all our family and friends for your love, prayers and support.

Memorial and Military Graveside Service will be held on Tues. May 26, 2015 at 4 pm at Winnemucca Veteran’s Cemetery.
