James “Zeke” Ezekiel Corley, 81, passed on October 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He retired from Buckeye in Carrabelle, FL at the age of 55. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Carrabelle Volunteer Fire Department and a Superintendent at the Carrabelle United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Most of all he loved his family and will he be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Myrtice C. Corley; two children, James W. Corley (Tammy) and Jona D. Anderson (Clint); seven grandchildren, LaDon Corley, Aerin Corley, Buck Corley (Carry), Hunter Swade, Blake Anderson (Candace), Racheal O’Neal (Dale), Seth O’Neal (Kacy), and nine great grandchildren, Freedom, Bella, Austin, Macy, Briar, Cason, Gage, Madison and Justin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00am at Carrabelle United Methodist Church in Carrabelle, FL. The service will begin at 11:00am at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery.
