Ethel Stone, age 76, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her home in Beaverton.
She was born on April 29, 1934 to Clark and Ila Hitchcock in Owosso.She lived in Gladwin County her whole life. She was employed as a Packager of Plastic at Vercon in Coleman.
She is survived by her sons, Duane (Deb) Forshee of Midland, Keith Forshee of Washington; daughter, Beverly (Vic) Whitmer of Beaverton; step-son, Larry (Dollie) Stone; step-daughter, Barbara (Wilbur) Conner of Beaverton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter, Judy Forshee (1999); two husbands, Kenneth Herman and Vern Stone “Jay”.
Services were conducted on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Beaverton Baptist Church, Beaverton. Pastor Jerry Smith officiated.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
