Wilma Ilene Forrest, 94, formerly of Bellflower, passed away Thursday (Oct. 5, 2017) at the Gibson Area Hospital Annex.
Wilma was born Dec. 20, 1922 in Shirley, the daughter of William and Clara Gellert Runge. She married Francis “Pat” Forrest on Oct. 3, 1947, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1997. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by daughters, Colene (Joe) Ramsey and Janice (Don) Metz; son, Bill (Gin) Forrest; grandchildren, Kellie (Frank) Ulrich, David Ramsey, Jonathan Metz, Ryan Metz, Amanda (Jeff) Anderson, Jenna (Nathan) Mangold and Nick Forrest; four great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Jean Lathrop.
Wilma was blessed to be a farm wife, mother and grandmother. As a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, her faith was important to her.
